Manila, Philippines: Crusade Report
From Evangelist Bernie Moore
Wed, Sep 24, 3:05 PM • Cuneta Astrodome
Dear beloved partner,
I want to give you a clear account of what the Lord did in Manila. We have seen the Lord move in many places over the years, but what happened in the Philippines carried a weight and intensity I will not forget. For two nights, the Cuneta Astrodome was filled with people who came hungry for the presence of God. They worshiped, they listened, and they responded to the Gospel with sincerity and conviction. THE LORD WAS MOVING IN MANILA. HALLELUJAH.
As the Gospel was preached, people leaned in. The message of Jesus went forward without distraction, and the response was immediate. People from every background, every age group, every corner of the city stepped forward to surrender their lives to Christ. More than ten thousand people made decisions for Jesus. Testimonies of healing and deliverance began to come in almost right away. The Lord touched bodies, restored minds, and broke chains that had held people for years. GOD WAS AT WORK IN THE PHILIPPINES.
The impact continued beyond the crusade nights. On Sunday morning, churches throughout Manila were filled beyond capacity. Pastors told us they had never seen anything like it. New believers and families arrived early with open hearts, ready to grow. It was clear that the Lord was doing far more than two nights of services. He was stirring something deeper across the city.
One testimony has stayed with me. On the first night, a young woman only twenty years old came to the crusade carrying a heavy burden. She had been battling depression and suicidal thoughts for a long time. That night, before she entered the building, she had made a plan to take her life after the service. She came with no expectation of change, only pain and despair.
But as she listened to the Gospel, something shifted. She heard that Jesus came to give freedom and life. She heard that God loved her personally. The truth confronted the darkness she had lived in for years. She fell to her knees and cried out to the Lord. In that moment, the Lord broke the power of depression and suicide off her life. THE LORD SET HER FREE. PRAISE GOD.
Today she is filled with joy. She is telling others what Jesus did for her. Her entire countenance has changed. A night that began in despair became a night of life and transformation. This is the power of the Gospel.
To every partner who stands with us, thank you. Your prayers mattered in Manila. Your giving mattered. Your faithfulness helped bring the Gospel to people who were desperate for hope. GOD USED YOU TO CHANGE LIVES. Every salvation, every healing, every testimony is fruit that you share in before the Lord.
Whether you have partnered with us for years or are considering it today, I ask you to pray about standing with us as we continue to go where the Lord sends us. Manila is one of many doors the Lord is opening across Asia. Churches are united. People are responding. The harvest is ready.
If you feel the Lord prompting you to sow into the next crusade, we will be grateful. Every gift helps us preach Christ to those who have never heard.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
“Remember this. Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver.”
Manila shall be saved. Asia shall hear the Gospel. And by His grace, we will continue.
For the Gospel,
Ev. Bernie Moore
